Bilstein 8112 Front Coilovers:
Bilstein's 8112 Zone Control Coilovers are an upgrade to internal bypass style shocks, they are the pinnacle of OEM fit performance.
These shock feature 5 total damping zones that eliminates the need for hydraulic bump stops or limit straps. 8112s use a triple piston design with the most mechanically advanced internals on the market. With an unrivaled full size 60mm working piston, 3 compression zones and 2 rebound zones, no other shock gets close to the performance.
This combo gives you the best of both worlds. When compared to a custom tuned coilover/bypass/airbump setup it's all the performance of a 7500 dollar front end at a fraction of the cost and install time.
The main seal assembly is based on a military part manufactured for 5 ton tactical trucks, and the JCO is built in the same factory as supercar shocks. As long as the shocks are not physically damaged they should average around 100k miles before needing serviced, whereas other options need done every 10-25k. Since these shocks came out in 2015 I have yet to rebuild one that was leaking, and they stand behind the product with one of thee best warranties in the industry. Our personal set has 35k miles on it with all original seals and oil, the temp strips on them show we have gotten them over 300 degrees several times. All shocks purchased from us are entered into our loyalty program which entitles you to 20% off all shock services for the life of the shock, including custom cerakote color changes, rebuilds, revalves, modifications, etc. Every single 8112 is dyno tested before shipping to ensure every single zone works perfectly at every speed.
This kit will lift the front of your tacoma 0.4-2.2". We can build these with any rate springs you like from 600, 650, and 700s. We have developed custom valve stacks for each spring rate and your coilover will be revalved at no cost before shipping out if you elect to purchase heavier springs. One caveat is because these have a ride zone you do not want to be out of the 0.4-2.2" lift height parameters, although a normal coilover will perform poorly outside of that lift zone as well.
Bilstein 8100 Rear Bypasses:
Bilstein's 8100 series are a direct fit, 2 tube external bypass. This lets you adjust your compression and rebound zone independently while providing a plush "ride zone". The engineering concept behind these is to give you the best ride comfort and handling on road, while also taming large suspension inputs off-road. During normal daily driving you have the control of the full size 60mm main piston, you can take your rig to work, pick up a load of gravel, or hit twisty mountain roads with maximum comfort and control. Off-road, the large external bypass tubes let some oil "bypass" the main piston valving to get your suspension moving over the rough stuff. The final compression zone is tuned as a bump zone and the bottom rebound zone serves to slow down harsh top out events. If you tuned normal smooth body shocks to work as good off-road, they would be miserable on-road, and vice versa. The reservoir hose inlet on these are at the base of the shock, which delivers increased compression control during the full cycle and keeps the seal assembly cooler.
Everything about this bypass is built for the rear end of your Tacoma. The reservoir position is 100% custom fit as well as the valving and even the bypass zone placement itself is specific to this application. These are not bypasses that also fit the rear of the Tacoma, these are Bypasses built from the ground up for your Tacoma.
These are for Tacomas with a lifted height from 0-1.5".
This listing is for a pair of front coilovers and a pair of rear bypasses.
We have personally installed a couple dozen of them and so far these have the most positive feedback of any product we have sold. There isn't another product on the market that gives you internal bypass performance with a full sized piston for maximum damping, while also incorporating an air bump, all in 1 shock that just bolts into the stock location.
