Right now your expensive tent is haphazardly attached to your rig. Your stock bolts are quickly and quietly snipped off by bolt cutters without even setting off the car alarm, and the flat strap plates get bent and broken during wheeling. The poor quality overseas Nylock nuts come loose with vibration while also "galling" on install if you're not careful. Anyone can quickly steal your tent, throw it in their truck, and drive off with it in under 60 seconds (demonstrated in the video below).
Mass produced security nuts are easier to remove and steal than the stock nylocks. There are thousands of the basic security nut keys in circulation, anyone can find a key for them on amazon or ebay, or spin them off with pliers if you can grab at the base of them. Ours are exclusively licensed to us and keyed to our specs. This means no one but us sells this keyed hardware and it is completely unique to our kits.
Our patented mount system fixes the problems with your stock setup. It protects the proprietary locking fasteners from being tampered with by pliers and shields the shank of the bolt from bolt cutters. We include class 10.9 bolts which are rated to hold almost 1,000X the weight of your tent. The security nuts are keyed to our specifications, you can't buy these locking fasteners anywhere else, period. They also feature proprietary "raptor claws" integrated into the base of the security nuts, which are an upgrade over basic locking washers and work fantastic with the aluminum mounts.

This is the second time that I purchased security mount for my rooftop tents through this company.
I love the fact that I can sleep with a peace of mind of knowing that my rooftop tent is going to be safe, as I keep my rooftop tent on my vehicle for around months out of the year.
I would highly recommend these for anybody looking to mount your rooftop tent on your vehicle over the standard bracket that come with your RTT, but also for the peace of mind of security!!
And you get an added bonus of a candy with each package haha love it

Bought a set on faith it would fit due to taking 3 emails to finally get a response. And, no, it didn’t fit (bought Yakima HD seemed closest to VW accessory bars but about 1/2” too tall). Made it work with shims. Once contact finally made service has been great.

Well it fits, but it needs some work like remeasuring. There is a 1/4” of a gap or more to the tent frame. I emailed and a week later still no response. Just trying to help you a small business and a vet. But it make me sleep a little better at night. There is no number to reach out so I can explain or complain, and maybe some questions. Just needs better customer service!

I’ve received the brackets and I can only say it’s a very good quality. I haven’t installed it yet, but will soon enough. Then I’ll test it out here in the cold weather of Quebec province.
